The Weather Outside Is Frightful

Everything was fine here, sure it was cold, but then the sky opened up and WHAM! snow every where.  It was so terrible here in Texas it was unbelievable.  I almost had to go to the airport to pick up a friend of a friend because they were stranded there for awhile.  Then I got a call saying never mind they got on their plane.  I would of went in a heart beat, but I was ever so happy to get the call saying that I didn't have to.  Lordie that would of been a mess and a half.  I had visions of me going to pick them up and getting stranded myself at the airport because I wouldn't be able to drive home.  I hope you all had a wonderful holiday, and I cannot wait to hear all about it on one of our lovely phone calls.

Wrapping of Gifts

Wrapping presents.  That is what I am getting ready to do.  I spend more time wrapping the things then actually buying them.  I try to make each gift different.  I do not use the same paper twice, nor do I use the same bow.  I spend a fortune on gift wrapping supplies.  I think there is something extra special when you are handed a gift and you can tell the person put a lot of love, time and energy into wrapping it for you. It makes you take your time, and enjoy it, and it makes the present that is inside all the more special too.

I Found It

I found what I see to be the perfect theme for my blogger.  What do you think of it? Isn't it so very cute?  So much better then that plain old blogger theme I had.  Now unto something else.  The holidays are upon us, and I know this can be a very hard time for all my little ones.  Loneliness sets in and it can be a very hard thing to deal with on your own.  Rest assured dears that Mommy Lizabeth is here for you.  I do not think anyone should feel lonely during this time of the year.   Your days should be filled with love and joy.  If you ever need someone to talk to I am here for you sweetie.  You just give Mommy a call and I will get you smiling and feeling good again.
