Strict Mommy

southern mommy during the holidays

       It is my favorite time of the year. The holidays are coming and I heard some Christmas music on TV this week. I'm excited for the holidays this year.Now I don't know how they do things everywhere else but in the southern part of the US we go all out for the holiday season.
      This month you'd find me baking pies and getting everything ready for a big ole Thanksgiving bash. If you were my wee little baby here I would diaper you then place you in your playpen so you would be safe while Mommy cooked and baked.       Oh me- oh my. I have heard so much recently about whether or not our beloved Bert and Ernie should walk down the aisle. I grew up watching Sesame Street as a little girl and Bert and Ernie were like friends to me as a child. Now as an AB Mommy I don't catch it as often but I remember how much I loved it before. Here is what I think about them getting married. I'm not against gay marriage at all , but I don't think Bert and Ernie are in love. They always seemed to me to be very close friends. Not all close friends are romantic, I would even say most are not romantic with one another.
     What do the adult babies think? Are they friends and roommates or are they involved?

Mommy loves you!

No matter how naughty, no matter how fussy Mommy always loves baby. That's right my darlings. No matter how much if a sassy little abie you are Mommy Liz loves you and will keep right on loving you. That's what Mommy is supposed to do. You can throw your toys, spit up your food, mess your adult diaper, cry and kick and this Mommy will always love her adult babies. Isn't it nice to have someone you can be yourself around? Isn't it nice to be able to get some frustrations out every now and again. Isn't that gorgeous? I've been wanting to get back into arts and crafts this summer so I've been reading up about body painting. Now I know I am not going to be able to have some Sissy Bridesmaids but the thought does keep turning in my head.  As I looked and picked out bridesmaids dresses I was continually thinking about how cute some of the sissies I know would have looked in them. So you think you're the only diaper lover around you? I'm thinking that you're wrong sugar, there are many. OK maybe not as many diaper lovers as there are non diaper lovers but the number is probably higher than you're thinking. When I see cute stuffed animals it makes me want to cuddle up with the cute abies. Do you want to cuddle up with Mommy and your cute plushy animals? I was shopping a few days ago and looking at all of the adorable Easter animals. I even looked at some of the delicious candies. Then I got lost in though about how I would design the perfect abie Easter basket. When I got to the stuffed animals though I just wanted to snuggle them and the abies who would love to snuggle them too. I guess you can say Mommy is just wanting snuggles lately huh babies? SHOES!!!

 My down fall.  I am a shoe-a-holic!  I love them, the more shoes the better.   These are just gorgeous, I want them, but then again, I want almost all the pretty things I see.  I was thinking that these would make some beautiful bridal shoes. Or with a very fluffy, beautiful sissy dress.  I know this Mommy would love to see a sissy wear them.  What is the one thing that you wear that makes you feel beautiful?  For me it's shoes, and maybe even these shoes, since I'm thinking about buying them.

A New Grilled Cheese

Heavens!  I just made these today and they are so good.  I decided to share with ya'll. 
Look I'm channeling paula dean lol.

• 8 slice(s) (thin) pancetta
• 8 slice(s) brioche, about 1/2-inch thick each
• 4 ounce(s) (recommended: farmhouse) sharp white cheddar, thinly sliced
• 1 large heirloom tomato, cut into 4 slices
• Kosher salt
• Freshly cracked black pepper
• 3 tablespoon(s) butter, room temperature

1. Preheat the oven to 425° F. Set a rack on a rimmed baking sheet.
2. Lay the pancetta slices on the rack on the baking sheet and bake until crisp, 15 to 18 minutes.
3. Meanwhile, set your toaster to a low setting and toast the brioche slices (they should be slightly dry but not brown).
4. Lay 4 slices lightly toasted brioche on a work surface and cover the slices with half the cheese, followed by a slice of tomato. Season each sandwich with a pinch of salt and a healthy grind of black pepper. Top each with 2 pancetta rounds and the remaining cheese. Lay the remaining brioche slices on top and press down lightly. Butter the top of each sandwich with 1/2 tablespoon butter.
5. Heat a large griddle pan over medium heat.
6. Melt the remaining tablespoon butter on the griddle pan and add the sandwiches, buttered side up. Cook until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is beginning to melt. Flip the sandwiches, press lightly, and continue cooking until golden and toasty. Transfer to a cutting board and slice the sandwiches with a serrated knife, on the diagonal. Arrange on a serving platter and serve immediately.

You have GOT to make these, they are very delicious.  I had 4 of these things. lol  If you make them let me know how you liked them.

I Found It

I found what I see to be the perfect theme for my blogger.  What do you think of it? My Sweet Ones

Well Mommy still has not found a blogger theme that I like. This is very frustrating to me. So until I do, I am going to keep this simple one. I have had so many Mommy Calls this week. I have enjoyed every one of them. So many of you have phoned me to wish me a Happy Thanksgiving. And also to ask me what I want for Christmas. I'm not all that sure what I want for Christmas yet. I can always use some perfume or things for my hair. Anything really. The best gifts are the ones that my sweet ones send me that are hand made. I am a girlie girl lol.
